Diary of a Madman

A music video was made for "Flying High Again."

Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge are credited on bass and drums respectively on the original and subsequent pressings of the album, but the correct rhythm section that actually recorded it are Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake whereas Sarzo and Aldridge were present for the album's tour. Lawsuits and disputes over the correct recording lineup of "Diary of Madman" would ensue over the next few decades, culminating in Daisley and Kerslake's tracks being re-recorded by Robert Trujillo and Mike Bordin on the 2002 reissue. Subsequent reissues would restore the original performances.

John Cook is also uncredited for his performance, leading to the widespread assumption that Don Airey played keyboards as he had on the previous album.

All tracks by Osbourne, Rhoads, Daisley, Kerslake except 3. & 4. by Osbourne, Rhoads, Daisley.

S.A.T.O is NOT short for Sailing Across the Ocean. Bob Daisley explains:
"...originally that song was called "Strange Voyage", and after I left the band, they changed the name to "S.A.T.O." and all that meant was Sharon Adrian Thelma Ozzy. Because Sharon at the time had a boyfriend called Adrian, and Ozzy's current wife at the time was Thelma. People were trying to figure it out, 'Oh, it stands for Sail Across the Ocean' and all sorts of things, but it just meant that."
