Released soon after the band left Atlantic Records, this compilation features only songs from the three albums on the label: Fighting the World (1987), Kings of Metal (1988) and The Triumph of Steel (1992). The record has not been endorsed by the band and it's not counted by Manowar as an official release.
"The Crown and the Ring" (track 5) is written on the CD/liner notes without the original text between parenthesis ("The Crown and the Ring (Lament of the Kings)") as published in Kings of Metal.
"Herz aus Stahl" (track 10) is a German version of the Kings of Metal track "Heart of Steel", first published in a single by Atlantic Records in 1988.
