Battle Hymns MMXI is a re-recording of Manowar's debut album, Battle Hymns.

All music written by Joey DeMaio with Ross the Boss except "Metal Daze" and "Battle Hymn" written by Joey DeMaio.
All lyrics written by Joey DeMaio.
"William's Tale" arranged and performed by Joey DeMaio.

The album is dedicated to Ronnie James Dio and Joro Panaiotov.
"Metal Daze" is dedicated to Jose Muniz.
"Death Tone" is dedicated to Andre Kralle.
"Battle Hymn" is dedicated to Tom Brown.

Recording information:

All songs recorded at Haus Wahnfreid by Manowar.
Mixed and mastered at Galaxy Studios.
Narration recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

Tracks 9 and 10 are bonus tracks recorded close to the time the original version of the album was released.
Track 9 recorded live on August 1st, 1982 at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas.
Track 10 recorded live on July 31st, 1982 at Taylor City Expo Center Arena in Abilene, Texas.
