Disc 1:
Originally recorded in 1981 intended to be Manilla Road's second album, the results were unsatisfactory to the band and so it was scrapped in favor of writing for the album Metal. After half of the scrapped songs existed for 20 years as a bootleg called "Dreams of Eschaton" (which would also have been the original title in 1981), Monster Records finally cleaned up the master tapes and reissued this album in its entirety in December 2002 under the name "The Mark of the Beast". This version is a newly remastered version of the material from 1981 under the original name.
Disc 2:
Tracks 1-3: "Underground" (demo) 1979
Tracks 4-8: "FM Broadcast" (previously released as "After Midnight Live") air radio live 1979
