The samples on the songs are taken from various movies: "Nightbreed", "Aliens" and Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs" (on "I Burn for You").
Nargaroth covered "I Burn For You" in the Black Metal ist Krieg album. They also include the song in their regular live set-list.
The cover is a photograph of actor/director Herk Harvey as he appeared in the 1962 horror film Carnival of Souls.
Re-released in 2009 by Forever Plagued Records on CD with unreleased demo "The Devil's Advocate".
