The cover of "Better by You, Better than Me" was recorded at the behest of the record label, who wanted a potential single, after the rest of the album was finished, and at a different studio, with only James Guthrie, as Dennis McKay had already moved on to a different project. The song would famously lead to a lawsuit being filed against the band, in 1990, the James Vance case. A documentary has been made about the case, titled "Dream Deceivers" (in turn after one of the band's earlier songs).

Recording information:

Recorded at Chipping Norton Studios, Advision Studios, Trident Studios and Utopia Studios.
