Originally released as "Killing Machine" in Britain and Europe, in 1978 without "The Green Manalishi", then re-released as "Hell Bent for Leather" in March, 1979 in the USA. The US version was forced to be delayed until 1979 so as to not compete with the then current album "Stained Class". The band themselves consistently refer to the album as "Killing Machine."
