Literally speaking this album only has 2 Iniquity songs (From Tarnished Soil and Sidereal Seas) as the rest of the material was written by the band Swollen before Mads and Thomas joined the band. Pyres of Atonement was the only song the lineup as a whole worked on writing and arranging. (as noted by Thomas Fagerlind in an interview regarding the writing process)

Released in Latin America by Decade Records in 2000 including 2 bonus tracks, "Desiderated Profligacy" and "The Hidden Lore", both taken from his MCD "The Hidden Lore".
The albums title was taken from the sitcom "Married With Children" where Al Bundy speaks the sentence.
