Released under their original name, Hades.
It has been said that Jørn composed the guitar parts for this album while he was in prison for a church arson (committed alongside Varg Vikernes from Burzum).
The lyrics of "Alone Walkyng" were written by Richard Chaucer in 1572.
"Alone Walkying" is a later version of an Old Funeral song of the same name.
The cover art is a painting by the Norwegian painter Olaf Isaachsen (1835-1893) named Tore Hund ved Olav den Helliges lik på Stiklestad (Tore Hund by the dead body of Olav the Holy on Stiklestad)
