A video was made for "Secular Haze". It was shot in the band's home town of Linköping and directed by Amir Chamdin.

Another video was made for "Year Zero", once again directed by Amir Chamdin. It was unveiled on March 25th, 2013.

A third video was made for "Monstrance Clock". It was directed by Rob Semmer and released on July 3, 2013.

Disc printing plants in United States reportedly refused to print the CD artwork depicting forest nymph orgy with inverted crucifix. The latter was deemed "too sacrilegious". The art was done by Polish artist Zbignew Bielak II. The controversial art can still be found on both the vinyl and European copies of the Infestissumam. This caused the U.S. release to be delayed to April 16th, 2013.

In October 2014, the album was certified gold in the group's home country for sales in excess of 20,000 copies.

According to a 2013 interview with Papa Emeritus II, "The title, Infestissumam, means "the biggest threat" and refers literally to the arrival of the Antichrist".

The front cover is inspired by the 1984 film "Amadeus".
