Failing to secure a record label deal for the album in 2010, Eliminator ultimately self-released And the Brokenhearted Balladeers digitally through their own record label, Saucy Airs Records (distributed through CDBaby), in March 2011. A CD version was eventually pressed an entire year later in March 2012, also through Saucy Airs Records. A handful of copies were sent off to Obskure Sombre Records in the summer of 2012 for distribution, but other than selling them, Obskure Sombre Records had nothing to do with the release.
And the Brokenhearted Balladeers was Eliminator's third full-length album, but it was released prior to their second full-length album, The One They Were Waiting For.
Recorded in 2010 at White Heat Recording Studios in Fairfield, New Jersey.
Mastered at The Basement Studios in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
