The 3 members were in a death metal band named Bloodshed before DM, with a 2nd guitarist Matt Acerra. This is Demonic Mortuary's 1st demo, which is black/thrash. The members decided to do a total old school black/thrash worship. And you can hear those influences coming through in this demo...
