Two versions exist: one with and one without barcode. On both versions "Made in Germany" is printed on the CD, but one was manufactured in Austria, according to the matrix.

- Tracks 9-18 taken from the 1982 The Unexpected Guest lp.
- The tracks "Ride the Wind" and "Fool to Play the Hard Way" are omitted from the Night of the Demon track list.

- Recorded at Clay Studios.
- Mastered at Translab Mastering Studio, Paris, France.

- Recorded at Bray Studios.
- Mixed at Bray Studios and Rampart Studios, London, UK.
