Deep Purple in Concert

Two separate shows, one from 1970, and one from 1972, both remastered from the original tapes and issued in a 2-LP set.

Mono reproduced for stereo (1970), remixed from 8 track (1972), and edited by Nick Tauber.

Tracks 11-12 only appeared for the first time on EMI's 1992 2-CD re-release.

Re-released in 2001 as a remastered CD.

The 1972 concert was released by Audio Fidelity in 2004 as Live on the BBC with the addition of two studio tracks from the Mk I era: "Hush" & "River Deep, Mountain High".

1972 concert was remixed, remastered, and rereleased in 2012 by Purple Records as 4th disc on 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Box of Machine Head and on a vinyl double album plus 7" single with the name In Concert '72 with the following tracklist:

Recording information:

Disc 1 was recorded live on 19.02.1970 at the BBC Studios in London for "The Sunday Show" (engineered by Tony Wilson).
Disc 2 was recorded live on 9.03.1972 at the Paris Theatre in London for "BBC Sounds of the Seventies" (engineered by Adrian Revill).
