Logo design/inlay art by James A. Morgan
Producer, arranged, written, and performed by Decimation.

Decimation's first demo after recruiting Domestic Crisis members Jim Lippucci and Dan Goodrich to replace former Violence frontman Jeff Charest.

The cover artwork, entitled "The Dark Embrace", is a painting by Joseph A. Maloney that was accompanied by a verse of the same name, which Decimation included in the 2-sided fold out inlay in between the lyrics and the credits...
"Controlled by the powerful, wealthy, those in authority and religious zealots, the oppressed make their way through life, naked, stripped of dignity, skewered by fate and helpless, down the winding path towards The Dark Embrace."

Recording information:

Recorded in late 1989 at Clockwerke Sound Studio, Cleveland Ohio. Engineered and mixed by Tom Gagen and Greg James.
