The album is loosely based on the 2007 horror FPS video game, "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl". Not dissimilar to how the album cover emulates the game's visuals, the ambient track "Dead Zone Walkthrough", makes explicit references to some of its atmospheric elements.
