Although the cassette says "Copyright 1989", the "20 Years The Hard Way" compilation lists this cassette EP (the bands first pro-pressed) as not released until 1990 (a fact also confirmed by both the band in interviews of the era, and the official release party advertisements in several magazines and even newspapers of the time). It was recorded and released after Ricardo and Burgess played together in Greg Perry's short-lived band Zyklone. When Zyklone folded Juan re-formed Attaxe, bringing Burgess with him. Its official release party was held at the Phantasy Nightclub in Cleveland on April 29th 1990 and included a live set from Attaxe as well as opening sets from Diabolicus and Rough Honor.

A promo version also exists that included a press pack, a glossy band photo print (the black and white photo against an orange background), and alternate orange tape labels to match the photo. The exact number of these produced is unknown.
