The album was in the works at least since 2019, with some previous recordings released as "singles" over that time. It was eventually re-recorded. As of the release of the album, those old recordings have been wiped from the band's YouTube channel.
Despite being credited as the drummer, Felipe Ruz joined the band after the album was completed.
