Re-issue of ABIGOR’s classic debut album, Verwüstung / Invoke the Dark Age, coming as a digipak CD with 8-page booklet.
Music and lyrics by Abigor, except "Beneath a Steel Sky" and "A Spell of Dark and Evil" written and performed by Tharen (as Rune).
Trivia:
- The sample at the beginning of the song "Kingdom of Darkness" was taken from the movie "Det Sjunde Inseglet" (1957) by Ingmar Bergman.
- The band members state that the lyrics for the song "Weeping Midwintertears" have been long lost.
Comes with an 8-page booklet.
Recording information:
Produced and mixed by Georg Hrauda and Abigor at Tonstudio Hörnix, Gettsdorf, Austria on June 27 and 28, and July 4, 6, and 13, 1994.
