100 - a rare gem, that will more than likely expand both your taste and views on music
91 to 99 - worth both your time and resources to find and listen to
81 to 90 - above average album, worth checking out if you like its genre
71 to 80 - average, if you are into this band get it, if not tread with caution
61 to 70 - below average, flawed, but has some promise
51 to 60 - very below average, flawed, some promise, but not a ton
41 to 50 - this may be charming in its crappiness, but its still crap
31 to 40 - may induce migraines
21 to 30 - will put you in a deep dark depressive state if you listen to this
11 to 20 - for completists only
1 to 10 - mediocre, avoid
0 - if you listen to this, your eardrums will bleed and maybe even explode

those ratings are for full length albums, but compilations, box sets, and live albums are about the same.
