I've been listening to metal music since 1976 when I heard Black Sabbath's "Master of Reality" for the first time. From there it was Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Rush, Led Zeppelin - then Venom, Slayer, Metallica, Warlock, Celtic Frost, Possessed, Hellhammer, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Bathory, Coroner...and the searching went deeper and deeper underground.
I sang for a stint in Adversary from Chicago and had a band called Blackwitch that produced two long-gone demos back in '94 and '95. I collect all sorts of rarities, oddities, anything true to the genre! For me it's not a pastime - it's my life.
