I had some tier-model of ratings that I would try to follow for all my reviews, but found that numbers were too arbitrary and it's too difficult to come up with an absolute definition for every full length, EP, demo, or compilation out there. The inconsistencies were too much to worry about.

Big pluses for me are atmosphere, songwriting, and replay value If an album is lacking that, it better have versatility, creativity - something that makes it interesting and worth listening to. Music reviews are still highly opinionated, but I'll do my best to describe everything best I can so the reader can come out informed.

Also, I like to review things that don't have any reviews there already. Eventually I'll write some reviews for albums that are quite popular but that's after I improve a bit.

If you happen to see any errors in my reviews, feel free to send me a pm on the forums! Sometimes I'll write a review, proofread it, correct mistakes, but then several months later, I might go back and miss some other mistakes!
