My rating scale:

100% Perfect, in every way shape and form. Only a select few albums managed to get this high of a rating.
95-99% An essential, you must own it.
90-94% An awesome album, definantly worth getting.
85-89% Good, worth getting. Hardly any flaws.
80-84% Solid. Perhaps a few if any bad moments.
70-79% Decent/average. It may have a couple bad moments, but for the most part, it's still worth getting.
50-69% Mediocre. Not really anything special. Get it only to complete the band's discography.
30-49% Sucks, don’t waste your time on it.
1-29% Painfully horrible. I'll almost never give an album this low of a rating, and if I did, then that's saying something.
0% Absolute shit in the purest form. I'll never rate anything this low unless it truly deserves this low of a rating. The symptoms of listening to anything this shitty include severe pain and bleeding to the ears, and the desire to punch babies. Treat symptoms by listening to either Vio-Lence's Eternal Nightmare, Judas Priest's Painkiller, Metallica's Ride the Lightning, or Pantera's Power Metal at full volume. Repeat treatments daily until symptoms go away.

I am obviously a huge fan of metal, paticularily thrash, speed metal and hair metal, though I'm also a fan of 80s pop rock, new wave, and synthpop. I generally like music with melody, energy, and emotion. I enjoy listening to something that makes me want to shout along to the music. I generally only enjoy clean singing which means that I hate harsh vocals, including screams, growls, grunts, and especially stupid ass pig squeals.

At the moment, my favorite bands are Exodus, Vio-Lence, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, TNT, Sonata Arctica, Firehouse, Journey, The Police, and Europe.
