SOME BULLSHIT ABOUT ME :

I have a massive CD/LP collection that I've been building since I was 13 or so (it's an addiction). I gave up a long time ago on trying to complete my collection here on the archives. I just have too much stuff and not enough time or motivation to get it all up. I also have a lot of stuff on my hard drive, but I am against downloading music just for the sake of downloading it. I always try to support the bands I like and buy their stuff. I make exceptions for out of print or hard to find stuff. In which case It's perfectly cool IMO to download.

I don't give a fuck about the metal "scene" anymore. Because to be honest, it's become just as bad as any other so called "scene". I hate metal elitists just as much as I hate posers and hipsters (just in a different way).

Thrash metal is my first love and I deathly wish I could go back to the 80's and experience my favorite genre in it's prime. I fucking love discovering classic thrash bands for the first time. Thats why I'm always searching for something I haven't heard. I'm indifferent about the current thrash revival (though I am happy thrash is getting popular again). I definitely dig some of these "new school" thrash acts, but I absolutely despise others (I'm looking at you FUELD BY FIRE). In a lot of the cases these bands actually look like they're trying TOO HARD to be thrash. You gotta just let it flow, because when you try too hard you come off looking like some goofy novelty act.

I'm pretty open minded when it comes to metal, but I absolutely despise nu metal, gothic metal, "mallcore", and anything that tries to be "scene". Scene by accident is ok I guess...I take them on a case by case basis. I of course listen to stuff other than metal (classic rock mostly, NO HIP HOP!).

Thats all for now fucktwats. m/
