My name is Matt. I am 20 years old. My favorite sub-genre is black metal, especially depressive suicidal black metal (DSBM) and the more atmospheric/ambient stuff. I also enjoy death metal, folk metal, thrash metal, Viking metal, funeral doom, and really a majority of other sub-genres. If it sounds good to me, I'll listen to it, regardless of how other people feel about it.

I am currently adding albums to my collection. I will only have albums in my collection which I have physical copies of. My collection is currently quite small, but I am working on expanding it. THIS IS NOT INCLUDING MY DIGITAL LIBRARY!

Albums in my collection that are not on the Archives (I know some of these bands aren't "trve metal" but I really couldn't care less. Besides, some of these albums I've had since I was just getting into metal):
Between the Buried and Me - Between the Buried and Me (white vinyl)
Between the Buried and Me - The Silent Circus (green vinyl)
Between the Buried and Me - Colors (black vinyl)
Between the Buried and Me - The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues (EP)
Between the Buried and Me - The Parallax II: Future Sequence
Between the Buried and Me - Coma Ecliptic
The Black Angels - Directions to See a Ghost
Born of Osiris - Tomorrow We Die ∆live
Bring Me the Horizon - Count Your Blessings
Korn - Issues
Nirvana - Nevermind
Slipknot - Slipknot
Slipknot - Slipknot (10 Year Anniversary Edition)
Slipknot - Iowa
Slipknot - Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses
Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone

Note: My collection may be missing some albums. I am currently stationed overseas and haven't been home in nearly a year, so I haven't seen my collection in some time.

I have also found that I am more generous with giving certain albums a score of 100% because there are plenty of album I absolutely love, and believe deserve the score. My reviews are more often positive than negative, because that's just the way it is. Can't really explain why. I guess I'd rather comment on something I like that dislike, but I do, of course, try to do both positive and negative reviews.

I've taken a huge liking to doom lately, notably death/doom and funeral doom. I'm still quite new to this style of music but so far, I'm liking what I'm hearing. I have no idea why it's taken me so long to really get into this stuff.
