This is the first demo from this Danish outfit. Unlike their later releases, which focused on a more Thrash Metal route, this demo is Death Metal all the way. When the shortest song out of 4 tracks is 5:11, you know you are getting your money's worth. Sacrificial does not dissapoint on Lords of Torment, and if only so many other bands could have been this tight and impressive, so much garbage could have been filtered out right away. The music just grabs you by the throat and pummels you into a pulp. The vocals, while leaning towards a more Thrash oriented style, still have a pissed off growl about them, and just rage through these 4 tracks like a tank through a battlefield. Why Sacrificial was never, or still isn't for that matter, one of the biggest bands on the scene is a mystery to me.
This has to be one of the rarest items in my collection. Since it is a demo, and it was released 13 years ago, your best bet at obtaining a copy would be lucking out and finding a trader that owns it and can dub it for you.
