Ragnarok draws closer. - 96%

With this release, Ragnarok show that even after five years of wear on the band, they can still come back and kick all your non-Pagan asses. This release is one of their more pissed off attempts and that just makes it all the better. Songs like "Under The Wings of Satan", "Encircled By Chaos" (the song from which I got my AIM screenname), and even the title track "In Nomine Satanas" all show their anger with everything and hatred for the Christian's god.

The lyrics are pretty much all the same, just written differently. As for the music, it's all the greatness of Arising Realm mixed with the frantic pace of Diabolical Age. This is some of black metal's finest offerings: the crashing blastbeats provided by Jontho, the panicky bass thrown in by Jerv, the grim and hard-hitting guitar assaults by Rym and Lord Arcamous, and even the piercing screams of Lord Arcamous... they all amount to a black metal release that will make even the listeners pissed off by the end of it.

In short, if you're a fan of black metal, buy this to truly add to your collection. It contains everything great about the genre in a beautiful time span of 48 minutes. Prepare to be "wow"ed.
