Garbage comes in many forms and from many places. One thing is constant with garbage however and that’s that it stinks. Granted the funk can be stronger and more vomit inducing with some more than others, but the general feeling is the same.
What we have here is a reeking pile of trash that someone should set ablaze. Lunar Gate somehow created what is quite possibly the worst single ever. The production is crap and it helps to bring the song down (it would've sucked had it been good however). The song is sloppy and unrehearsed. The clean guitars sound alright and the intro isn't too bad, but it falls apart shortly after this. The distorted guitars sound weak and distant. The drums are loud and patchy with the bass in the same boat.
The vocals are, in short, horrible. While Emma is a pretty girl, its apparent that from a musical stand point, her looks are all she has going for her. There is also a guest saxophone player (who looks to be around 80 years old) playing randomly from the middle of the song to the end. He adds a jazz feeling to the already confusing clusterfuck.
This could have been a cool song/single, but its as if they just wanted to put something out without any thought or idea. If they were going for jazz they missed horribly. This is an epic fail in every sense of the phrase. Thankfully the other side of the single is good, but then again Mourning Beloveth rocks out loud.
