Dark romantic soul - 100%

"Meine Hoffnung Ganze Stribt" by Moloch is the first album completely devoted to compositions of piano and synth. This is a great job, full of melancholic atmosphere that's intense and full, a distillate of desolation and dying of a cold world, with variations and unusual fascinations. This is officially an album of dark ambient neoclassical, only partially realized as an author might think of black metal since the hard taste for classical piano score is strong and is clearly the predominant element.

Its hard to review this album because it is full of emotion and amazing atmosphere inside. Each track is different, but at the same time the whole album has a strong conceptual structure of loneliness, sadness, and depression. I must say I have never heard something similar to this album before. This album is so unique, as unique as Sergiy himself as a person. This is an absolute masterpiece. Perhaps this is just my words, but you can see for yourself after listening to this album when you fully immersed and dissolve in its sad melodies. Various images are born in the mind when I listen to this, whether it's childhood memories, life problems, romantic moments, or negativity around us. For you, it will be a personal key to the world of their own experiences.

The musical parts of this album is melancholic piano music with dark ambient background. Sounds really interesting, grim, and unique. Each song has a different structure, but brings you the same feelings as the previous song. That makes this album more conceptual. Piano parts are played very well and similar to Brasil project LEBENSESSENZ (but the Brasil one is most professional). The deep structure of piano lines is the main part of all the tracks and like "the meat on the bone", adds a background keyboard, sometimes even bass guitar. The foreground of the tracks is created by two parallel lines; the one is in the low, deep, bass- toned piano and the second are higher, mid-range frequencies accompanied by some additional dark ambient soundscapes appearing here and there.

This album can be described as compilations of piano tracks from various albums. For example, the track "Illusion des Winters" was originally taken from the album "Illusionen Eines Verlorenen Lebens". Tracks "Wenn der Herbsthimmel Ergraut Ist" and "Ferne Wälder Gehen im Tiefen Herbstnebel Verloren" were taken from the album "Isolation der Essenz". But it's absolutely great when harmonized with other new tracks, so I understand why this release has a status of "album" instead "best of..".

This album will be good for people with various musical taste, from neoclassical ambient to black metal.
