Good Stuff - 80%

Jesus, man...I don't care what anyone says, Lacuna Coil is a very talented band. The music blends very well with the two vocalists and creates a very sad, eerie feel to anything this band puts out. This single is no exception.

Heaven's a Lie: I really dug the keyboards in this song, they add a lot to the overall feel of the music. When Christina Scabbia starts singing, I was a little bit disappointed because she's basically just groaning...but that's alright, she redeems herself. Andrea Ferro also does a good job singing. The chorus is probably the best part of the song...it's creepy. The biggest problem with this song is that the lyrics are a bit too repetitive.

Self Deception: I liked the intro where Scabbia is singing in the background. Ferro shouldn't have sung so angrily in this song, though. Kinda screws stuff up...but Scabbia basically saves his ass. Her delivery is also better than Heaven's a Lie. Musically, this song isn't quite as good as the previous song, but by no means is it bad. And again, the lyrics are much too repetitive.
