A blur of bland death metal - 22%

Infirmity play simple, dirty death metal that's has a bit of a grind edge, both punkish in the simple drumming and guitar work, and in the use of two vocalists, reminiscent of Nasum. The blend of high and low growls is probably the strongest point on the album, they lead the music and mix nicely. The guitars are really simple, mostly power chord grooves and a bit of trem picking. The drumming is mostly standard beats with a bit of blasting. There's a black metal part that sounds completely out of place too.

While there are some cool parts, it's mostly really bland, generic death metal. Very simple and amateur sounding, and completely uninspired. This doesn't stand out at all from the blur of dirty death metal demos that can be found on every corner of the internet and perhaps in caves where metal demos are archived.
