In the Nightside Eclipse

Emperor's In The Nightside Eclipse is an album people always said was amazing and one of the best black metal releases ever. Its amazing, but I wouldn't say its up with the best.

At first I didn't like it, but after a while it grew upon me. After a while I was able to find myself past the wall of noise and able to isolate riffs and melodies. The main thing I was able to remember in the release was the keyboards. The keyboards soar over everything. They are what give this album a 'beautiful' sound. I'd say they are the best part of this album. Now onto the songs.

"Intro" well is an intro. Now onto a real song! " Into The Infinity of Thoughts" is the first song (second if you want to get picky and wierd) on this release. It isn't the best, but the keyboards are perfect. They haunt and hypnotize you and don't stop. Its amazing. The guitars, bass, and drums are perfect to. Also the vocals are perfect.

"The Burning Shadows of Silence" is the only song I don't like on here. It doesn't click with me in anyway. I don't know why I don't like it other then the riffs not being entertaining. Overall it isn't a good song, except for the drums. "Cosmic Keys to My Creation and Times" is the next song. Its a great song. The keyboards yet again hypnotize you through the whole song. everything on it is perfect. "Towards The Pantheon" has an amazing intro to the song. Then when the guitars, bass, and drums come in it reaches perfection. Its a beautiful song.

"The Majesty of the Night Sky" is yet another masterpiece. It starts straight into the song with vocals and all. The guitars are my favorite part of this song unlike most of them on this release. Next is "I Am The Black Wizards". A truly amazing song. One of the best songs on the release. The riffs, drums, hell everything is perfect on this song. Next we have my favorite song on this release, "Inno A Satana". It starts with the drums then in comes everything else! The riffs are hypnotic along with the vocals. The clean vocals you hear in this song are amazing.

This release is overall a masterpiece with the exception of 1 song. Its a must have for anyone.
