Dead Words Speak

Doom:VS is a one man band of Draconian guitarist Johan Ericson. This band leaded by a funeral atmosphere is one of the most impressive of the genre and also one of the most depressive. Aeternum Vale was one of my favorite doom metal albums of all time because of the atmosphere I felt and loved - Dead Words Speak has it two or three times better.


Geniously done, Dead Words Speak mixes the most depressive drumming and singing along the most melodic choruses of this genre. There are many catchy moments and the doom-ish feeling changes each song. I love his both clean and harsh vocals, it's a shame why not to use it on Draconian. Johan Ericson is a pure and talented genious! The chours of the title track has a melody hard to forget and rarely you find something like this.


Being one of the best albums I've ever heard, this would worth all the money I'd spent..the big problem is I can't find it. Buy it if you are a great doom metal fan, you will feel all the pleasure to be part of the funeral atmosphere of this album. I highly recommend you this!
