This is death metal. This is how it should be. I don't know about you, but it's becoming more and more painful trying to find it in my area, because no one has good tastes in music anymore. But I digress. There are only a few bands who will give you good metal like this, full force. I'm not saying that there this is the only death metal band I am into, of course.
The lyrics are how death metal should be. Nothing but gruesomeness and evilness. Good guitar riffs, thats how it's diversity from most other metal. Perfect drumming, and how it is not always what the knowledgeable Metal-Archives refer to as "blastubation," and it's true. All of this is very innovative in and to death metal. The vocals are excellent; the screams are brilliantly blended in with ripping growls. The Scandinavian feel, obviously like much other metal of Scandinavia, to this is excruciatingly awesome. These days, European metal is most pure. This album is no exception to that.
Hoping to see another release from this band in time. Maybe they can surpass this effort, like they did with Resurrection Through Carnage.
I enjoyed the songs 'Eaten,' 'Feeding the Undead,' 'Bastard Son of God,' and 'Cancer of the Soul.'
