Maple Metal Records is a Canadian indie label based in Toronto. MMR was launched in 2008 by John Belrose (producer of one of the pioneering albums in thrash / speed metal: Exciter’s - Heavy Metal Maniac). MMR's goal is to release newer metal from talented acts around the world, and bring them to the forefront of wider global markets, providing bands exposure to a bigger fan base and a greater awareness within the metal community, with the potential of them moving on to major labels.
