Description

Michael Koch's father owned a music pressing plant in Austria. He began selling the services of his father's plant in 1987, using the family name as an imprint. He moved to the USA and re-established himself in the music business, with various divisions spanning record labels and distribution being formed over the years. The Koch imprint appeared on published music from 1987 to 2006.

Koch was acquired by E1 Entertainement in 2005, effectively becoming the E1 Music division of E1 Entertainment.
