Arctic Serenades started off as Arctic Distribution and sold releases of Sagittarius, Carpathian Full Moon and some early stuff from Napalm Records. The name was abandoned when the full-fledged label Arctic Serenades was established shortly thereafter. The label then established another distribution company called Inferno Distribution and, from 1996 to 2001, a fanzine (later webzine) named News From The Infested Graveyard.
Arctic Serenades was distributed by Nuclear Blast and also collaborated with Effigy Records, essentially running it for some months towards its end. Problems of various kinds led to the cancellation of several planned releases and in 1997, Arctic Serenades officially shut down.
