I've submitted my band that has a Demo out, and I put that for the discography, about a week ago,

The band is called Treig, and I do depressive drone black metal

I have a site and everything, yet I still have not been accepted

I think there might of been a problem when i was submitting, because it says i have 0 bands in queue that I've submitted

should i try and submit again?

please use this thread:

(see its title)

From your site at MySpace I see that you have a demo for download, but this is not enough ... it is a physical release (offer proof; a photography of some copies (tape, CD-R, CD, vinyl) that you need to have in order to be accepted on this site; see the rule #7.

and you would really describe your band as metal... some randomly and loose played accords do not make up a metal song.

I don't have random chords, I write everything and then improvise off of it.. , there's more on there than drone parts, and alright, I'll make some copies and print out artwork, I really do need to have some physical Copies anyway..

This certainly is not metal, nothing that would resemble a metal song, no real riffs or metal song structures. Absolutely not acceptable.

That is complete bull! How can Moevot which doesn't even have guitar or drums be on metallum and something which has all the elements of metal be denied? Or Sunn? I don't see how anyone can see wind blowing and screaming as metal or as having a song structure

Where did you see Moëvöt being metal? The band is listed as dark ambient and on MA as an exception.

So what, Treig has elements of dark ambient, drone, and black metal. Does he have to be in a KVLT!!1#5@%$2 Inner circle to get accepted?

First, I have to correct something. I asked "Where did you see Moëvöt being metal?" but you didn't tell actually that Moëvöt was considered metal on MA, just Sunn. I misread, so forget that.

I heard Treig on MySpace and the band certainly doesn't belong here.

No, the band won't get in even with being in a circle.

So, what If say I'm not metal, that I'm blackened dark drone ambient or something?

I find it so fucking ridiculous you have Sunn O))) on here, but you wont accept me.

Drone METAL

Sunn O))) rarely use drums at all. I have riffs, double bass drums, black metal vocals, feedback, ambiance, all fucking elements of metal.

you may have all these elements in your music, but it is not metal. The closest to metal would be your track 'Stigmata'.

Indded, there is nothing that would resemble any existing real metal style, only industrialized noises, and it does not matter, if they are guitar or electronically induced. There is no special metal ambience, which anybody would be able to describe. That is not a defining factor of metal.
There are not metal riffs in the songs. Feedback is absolutely not a defining factor of metal either, otherwise all shoegaze and a lot of psychedelic rock would be metal.

There is no "drone metal" style, that is as an much an empty term as "dark metal" is.

Sunn O are here, because they are still somehow close to doom metal, but they are considered to be borderline. And to use a borderline band as an excuse for your absolutely non-metal project is not much logical.
It is not metal in the slightest and it will not be accepted, period.

Another thing, two of the songs I have up on my page are intro/outros. Final is the Intro and Going Home is the Outro...

The other tracks I have were to big to upload. And the newest song is more ambient influenced, hence i am working with a drone/ambient artist currently known as Norss.

If anyone needs any further evidence I have enough metal to be on here, I can send them a link to my album

I belive I have enough material that is metal enough to be on here. I'm not backing down.

If all else fails I guess I'll just have to write some derivative, done a million times black metal, haha

None of the songs on myspace is metal, so further evidence is not needed. You can believe in what you want, but it will not help you to get the band listed here.
If you do not like it, search for some industrial ambient promo site, where they will gladly accept you. This page lists informations about bands, that are reasonably metal according to our standards, which your music is not.

Further evidence?? All the songs on myspace are lightyears from any real metal genre. That is no primary evidence, so do not ask about any further.

If you future releases will be more real metal, we can see, but as for now, nothing indicates that it would be so.
To repeat over and over, how you think your band is metal, will not solve anything either.

If you want to make a more experimental music, that is your decision, but do not expect, that your ambient project will be accepted on a metal page.

just because they suck does not necessarily mean that this would lead to their deletion. As long as these bands are metal, they will stay here.

are you implying that underoath and waking the cadaver are metal?

if so, this argument is completely futile.

They're all filled with Slammy breakdowns, just not to to the extreme that WTC are..

BTW, Underoath are here because their first album or two are/were metal.

Still claiming , that you are only making jokes here?
Even if it was so, it is only a place for serious discussions here.
Waking the Cadaver is death metal based enough, if they do not fit your personal taste does not matter at all.
You apparently do not known what hardcore is. Groovy parts alone do not make something predominantly hardcore.
You will not get hardcore style just by watering down death metal.

Ans yes, they are about 100 times more metal than your fecal noisegrind bands like that beloved Tampon band of yours.

You were already told to shut up by Napero, so follow the orders of my fellow moderator, you are bound to do it according the rules, since Napero is a forum mod. We have enough annoying clueless kiddies here even without you.

Once again, nothing will be deleted just because you do not like it or people are hysterically bashing it.

It is pure grindcore, there is not an ounce of metal in here. Now, settle down, I like this a lot. But you have to remain coherent... while I easily understand why bands like Phobia are here, Elysiüm is not metal-based, pure grindcore, I really fail to see where the metal structure and riffs are. Not to mention the vocals...

Vocals do not make a band metal.
Other than that, it is close to death metal enough. No noisecore or punk here.
You are entitled to think what you want, but the band is metal enough and will stay.

Now, seriously..
Look at your posts at the genre thread and why you did not get your way back then.
With that retrospective, think twice next time please, before you write something like this.
