I tried uploading a new (and much more polished) logo to The Gloominous Doom's page, but the old logo stayed... at first I thought it was probably because of the image name being too long (gloomdoomgreenlogo.jpg), so I shortened it and tried again, still didn't work.

In addition to writing an error report, I just wanted to ask about it here to see if there is anything going on with the servers or something. I have a logo for another band I'd like to update as well (And future band updates as well, since many local bands haven't even settled on an official logo just yet), and I'd like to know if it is fixed so I don't go and update it myself, only to run into the same problem and have to write an error report about it.

Sometimes, it can take an hour until the picture appears. If there was an error, the site would inform you.

If the site doesn't feed you an error message, you can normally assume that the update has occurred. To see it right away, you may need to clear your browser cache and then reload the page.

It'll appear later; it usually takes some time for pictures especially to change.

Yes, that's the old one.

The logo I see is identical to the one you posted. In other words, it's your cache.

That's incorrect. The picture always appear right away, but it might take a while for your cache to refresh.

If you're using firefox, right-click on the picture > This frame > reload
