this seemed like the most appropriate place for this.

I was wondering, what should i do if i want to add a band whose only member remains anonymous and doesnt use a pseudonym? There is an explanation from the band about why there isnt a name used, but still, there isnt a name. I dont see it TOO important to have (i know that it is pretty important) but i do have the band name, official link, and the band has atleast one demo released. Is there something i should do or should i just not bother adding it?

wait for a mod to answer but heres my take:

as long as the band is legit, with a physical release and all, and the members want to remain anonymous, then it seems alright. i mean there are many bands on here that dont have a complete line-up not because they want to remain unknown, but merely because we dont know. so in a sense, i see no immediate problem, but again, wait for a mods take.

If the band exists and you have no information about the band members, what else can you do other than to leave it blank?

If it's an otherwise viable band, then there shouldn't be much of a problem.

You don't lose points for a failed submission. If you submitted it and it passed, then it was found out the band is fake or anything about it, then yes you would lose points.I suggest you read the FAQ on submitting bands.

i didnt think i would lose points, but i dont see much of a reason why it would be deleted, it had a name, official link, one release...(in other words, it was clear that the band existed). the only real important thing it was missing was the member's name (although it still stated that there was a member and why there wasnt a name...)

sorry if this gets annoying but i just want to find out why it wasnt accepted

the band wasn't rejected because of the member names, you can rest assured of that.
