Bleh, fuck IE7's bullshit implementation of max-width.

Images should appear the correct size in Microsoft's latest piece of shit browser now. Please confirm.

While we're on the subject, was adding metal albums to our collection disabled? The option to add albums seems to have disappeared.

Um, seems to work for myself and Griekis... Have you emptied the cache? And if so, do you have a specific example of a page where the image isn't resized? I'll assume you have javascript enabled.

It says I am.

Hold on, let me try logging out then logging back in.

Edit: Nope, still not showing up for me. I went to Kataklysm's page and it doesn't show up. Same thing for Amorphis' and Axel Rudi Pell's pages.

Strange... I don't know, some sort of session screw-up apparently.

I just tested something.

If I use the google search and go to a bands page that way, it apparently won't work. But if you go to a bands page through, say, the link in your collection list, or a review, then it will appear.

Um, I don't have that behavior.

Here's what I tried:
1. Search for Amorphis in the search box
2. Click on the first result to go to Amorphis' page
3. Click on, say, Tales from the Thousand Lakes
4. The "add to your collection" link is there

That's not the case for you?

I've emptied the cache and some pictures are still blown up to ungodly sizes. Iron Maiden and Krieg's band pictures would be two random examples. I'm not sure how to check if javascript is running, though...

Ah, mystery solved. You're logged in to metal-archives.com rather than www.metal-archives.com, so the cookie was set for that subdomain only (without the www). When you run the Google search, Google takes you to www.metal-archives.com, where the login cookie is not set.

That said, I just modified it so that the cookie is valid for all subdomains, so log out and log back in and it should work fine now.

The Cookie-problem does still exist for me. I was logged on, posted this in the forum, opened a new tab (MA-frontpage) and found myself there was logged off again, went to add a band and again I was not logged in.

Yeah, I have had this issue for a few days now, also noticed the issue first through the Google search route, but I now get the error message seen above whenever I attempt to log in. I have tried the usual remedies but to no avail. At this rate I'l be lucky if this message goes through without dropping my login first!

All links to other bands from a band's profile have "http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=" without any numbers as a link

It seems the server had trouble writing the session files to the disk. It works for me now... same for everyone?

This isn't so much a server problem, but I didn't feel like opening a new topic for it.

If I try add a picture and it's too big, I end up in a window with possible causes, but the link "Click here to return to the band submission page." brings me to a "You do not have a high enough rank to access this page." page. An extra link back to the band's page for people with lower ranks would be much appreciated.

Cookie problem ... again...

Scenario:
I am logged in on the MA homepage then switch to the forum and then switch to the mainpage back again and I find myself logged off.
Strange.

I know I'm asking this in the wrong topic, but I think it's irrelevant to create a new topic for this.
I can't log out on the Metal-Archives part. I can log out on the forum part, though. Does anyone know how to solve this little problem?
