I tend to listen to melodic and progressive death metal, but a while ago I heard a band called skinlab, theyre not on the list in the archives.... You can hardly call them mallcore. They definately had a newer metal sound in theyre later releases, but the first few albums were more death/thrash.... Check it out someone....

Skinlab was once in the archives but they were rejected for being too mallcore. Myself I haven't listened to this band so I cannot give my opinion.

I remember The Clansman took them off as a christmas present (not sure about this one) for the archives members. I have to agree with this decision, the first albums aren't even as metal as Pissing Razors, they're like Machine Head + more mallcore - pathetic.

First of all use the rejected bands threads instead of creating a thread. Also try and provide a more persuasive argument and if you can include Mp3s then that would be even better. However, it looks like this band has been deleted from the archives so the chances of getting them accepted are minimal at best. If they have a new release out that is more metal than the previous stuff then perhaps they do warrant a submission.

I've always had a bone to pick with the MA including Skinlab into the archives. It's great to finally see them off.

They've never been metal. I've heard many of their stuff when getting into metal. Even back then, when discovering metal, I knew myself that Skinlab were nu-metal ala [enter cliche nu-metal band from 90's.]

Hence they're not metal. They're just plain old mallcore.

They sound like shitty groove metal to me.
