Abadon: ecuador

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=10009

I checked this band on google but on RockDetector too they have no info about the discography

The full-length submitted apparently belongs to ABANDON (sweden)

can someone check and then we will remvoe the band if no info can be found

I suppose a band formed in 1989 has some demos at least -__-

They do have a demo out. RockDetector probably got their info from here, and they never mention demos.

No

You can nuke them: feel also free to nuke all the links that are broken or useless (interviews, reviews, tabs etc)

^When I first saw Enbilulugugal on the Archives I couldn't help but scratch my head. I used to know the main guy (Dustin) and from what I remember he created the "band" just as a joke to make fun of black metal. He would send me tape after tape of his material, and it was always 95% noise.

The very first demo, "Satan Killing...", he just gave it to some friends in the main metal room on Yahoo Chat. It was a one-channel recording he did on his PC with a shitty cover that he made in Microsoft Paint. I was running the USBM List at the time and he suggested (jokingly) that I should add Enbilulugugal to the list. A funny fact is that the demo was hand-numbered in blood, but the blood was actually from a mosquito bite he had on the back of his knee.

Got a nice report from ProjectHateDCLXVI for the band

"T3chn0ph0b1a"

uhhh ok you don't let deathstars on metal archives but you let this shit on.. wtf!!!!????
T3chn0ph0b1a is less metal then slipknot, and as for the black metal part of it..... if you consider nasal kovenant shrieks BM vocals so be it.... but this band IS NOT METAL!!!!!
please remove them from M.A.

I'm not familiar with them and as Funeral_Shadow added them I had better not criticize or he will once again whine :D and say that I hate him

Hmmm, deathstars sounds like it has more of a rock edge than this Technophobia does. But everyone doesn't agree. It is the price we all must pay here on MA.....

Sorry, I had a temper. OK, then how does that work? It appears NEVER when I update something and neither to most other people. What's causing this? Has it Something to do with the browser you're using or the language-system your machine runs (the characters of the keyboard)?

That Catasexual Urge Motivation is in the MA doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I removed the band after the guitarist left a report asking us to remove it UNTIL their demo is released

Unreleased demo is not a valid release guys :)

If the band has AT LEAST one demo, that's OK

As for Warlord Azazel, if you give sufficient info, that's OK but give PROOFS that the band exist: logo, or demo cover, mp3, fan site

You know, we now try to avoid FAKE BAND in M-A, that's why we have become so strict now

That's easy to make a fake demo by inventing song titles.. so if you can give proofs the band exist, ok, submit it again

Thanks

Apparently this band has been accepted this w-e : MASSIF

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=48447

I got this email today

"I'm writing because I've found strange thing on www.metal-
archives.com, I noticed band MASSIF in database and I
wonder how it came to this site, becasue its a band playing
some kind of Grunge Rock in vein of NIRVANA, PEARL JAM,
ALICE IN CHAINS. Listen to their song on the official site,
and you will find that there arent any metal influences."

Can someone confirm this? (I don't have enough patience/courage to listen to the band mp3 hehe)

their latest demo is pure bore rock, but the previous full-length sounded reasonably metal from the mp3s in their site.

"Note: Flächenbrand plays grindcore/ hardcore not thrash metal". That comprises the additional notes of that band.

The band has a split with Anal Cunt to.

Since there is no information like Fuck the Facts that says one obscure release was metal then I assume some mod clicked the wrong button or something.

Was wondering what the policy was on this. When a band chages name should releases from the previous name be on the new name as well? In other words a release being on both the band pages. Here is an example.

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=16585
http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=6557

The same release is on both pages with the same cover art and the same logo.

The one on the lUzbel page should be deleted.

also, the same live album appears twice on the lVzbel page

Lvzbel and Luzbel are totally different bands. Some stupid added Lvzbel's debut to Luzbel's page, even if there's a warning concerning this on the additional notes...

Anyway, the policy is to add just the albums that were released originally under that name, i.e. no Prayers of Steel at Rage's discography.

BTW those are two different Lvzbel live albums, released at the same time (think A Real Live One vs. A Real Dead One).

I think that the first demo CD of Prostitute Disfigurment has to be added in a new page. In fact it was released with the name of Disfigure (as the cover shows very clearly) so Disfigure and Prostitute Disfigurment could be considered two different bands with two different pages. I suppose that the policy of the site is goin' in this direction. Do you agree?

Bye :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
