Well if you don't care which pressing it is, you can get it for ex UK Amazon, Play.com or Discogs for less than 15 €. If you want the first pressing, then Discogs price range is normally somewhere between 20 and 25 €.

Thanks, I don't really care about the pressing, let's see if I can get my hands on it! ;)

Heh, no idea, I'm not really a fan of these covers by the way.

I'll get my Diocletian and Pungent Stench stuff in here soon I reckon :nods:

My coffee table has no business in this or any other thread!
You can blame The Gimp having a really useful path tool: click click click, select from path, invert selection, delete, flatten, resize, save as.

Here's a couple other micro-collections of mine. I'll add/update a few more Japanese ones once a few orders come in.

Pain of Salvation:
Spoiler: show
Image

I was considering getting the Japanese pressing for "Remedy Lane" awhile ago, but I never really did like "Thorn Clown". And when I opted to try to get it last year, it went OOP. :P Maybe it'll show up on yahoo auctions someday.

Hawkwind:
Spoiler: show
Image

Image

Not metal, but one of my favorite bands and worth posting anyway. Nothing rare or anything (most are reissues), but there's a lot of 'em. Hawkwind-related bands included: Hawklords (same thing as Hawkwind), Robert Calvert, Dave Brock, Alan Davey (sounds like a missing Hawkwind album - I'm missing a few of his stuff), Hawkwind Light Orchestra (should've been a Hawkwind album). There's actually a lot of related stuff I'm missing (I probably should remedy that sometime).

A couple more micro-collections (I was waiting for my last order to arrive before posing these).

Grave Digger:
Image

Bar a few songs, I was never a fan of their 80s stuff - hence their absence. Mind you, a side of me wants those now just for completion's sake (I don't think I'd want to spend much for any of them though). The digipack for Rheingold was surprisingly scarce (from my experience).

Boy, that promo warning on the Obscura cover sure is distracting. It looks like it's printed on the cover as well, and not a sticker or anything. That's pretty lame.

Wow, no kidding. That's shitty, like I can understand having a label printed on the CD itself saying it's a promo copy, but don't print it on the damn cover art, that's just wrong.

There was a time, maybe 10-15 years ago when cd's were being literally thrown away. I assembled my collection then by scouring the pawn shops and literally paying $.25-$1.00 per disc...and yes I bought thousands of cd's then.

Now, pawn shops won't carry cd's anymore (at least in western USA) and online purchasing is only for the rich, no bargains for true enthusiasts to be found anymore.

Apologies for the tangent.

Huh? I've recently purchased a good number of CDs on ebay for $5-$10 a pop, including shipping. Perhaps "for the rich" if you're buying straight from the distros or when compared to pawn shop CDs, but still pretty cheap on the whole, especially when compared to buying full-price from Amazon.com or something.

I guess it depends what you are looking for? My comment was broad and meant towards the more obscure releases.

That said at $10 a pop that is almost distro prices for many new releases, check out Stormspell, as his releases fall right into that $5-$10 price point and at $10 a pop you can spend the rent money really quickly. :)

And I certainly agree with the Amazon statement, tough place to find bargains.

Haha nice Dread! I almost bought a red letter version last week myself. But it wasn't cheap and I figured since I have the yellow one already, I'll wait till it comes by cheap.

However, I'm still looking for a 1st press For God Your Soul. Damn, I want that one. Also missing a couple of other releases, but the 1st press FGYS is high on my want list.

Ha ha, yeah not really though. Never been that much into Pungent Stench, although seeing Chirenc playing live this Summer made me want to give the band another shot. Thing is, it's been three months and I haven't yet found the time to actually listen to them!

But just in case it does click, I'm still fucked! I mean, just see for how much FGYSFMYF goes for...

Yeah, I'll be patient. Luckily I have the (1993?) reissue with the rerecorded songs to listen to in the meantime. I'm willing to spend some money depending on if I have it, state of the item, etc. But most of the times the prices are way too high.

Haha, I got into Pungent Stench also because I saw them play this summer. At graspop. And later 20/30 mins from where I live in Leeuwarden. They replaced Gorguts last minute. (Gorguts is nice, but Pungent Stench just kills.)

LP would be killer too to have! For both BCB and FGYS

Nice shit dude. I need to get myself more Grave Digger, very lacking at the moment

Yup, 5 remotes, and the one for my subwoofer isn't even there. I should probably get a universal remote control someday ...
