Won an auction for Rrroooaaarrr!!!! God I'm so excited. I've been completely possessed by their early material but I was missing this. Also grabbed the Alt Tentacles release of Voivod's To the Death demo.

Hail Piggy! Stubby fingered wizard!

No worries mate. They got here really quickly after you sent them actually, only a couple days time. Really solid stuff too.

Damn that really sucks man...

Here's my latest haul:
Image
Marduk hoodie
Portal - Vexovoid
Kongh - Sole Creation
Revelation - Reveal (got this for free from Hells Headbangers, no idea if it's good or not)
Mayhem - Esoteric Warfare (this album is awesome. I especially like the concept and the lyrics behind the songs. Pretty unique twist for a black metal album).
At The Gates - The Flames of the End

Take extra care with that ATG DVD set, as the pages get ripped very easily due to the weight of the 40-page A5 booklet. The fact that it's glued on two points to a paper-thin cover doesn't help it either. I bought a copy that was already torn, and when I exchanged it for a new it went the same way.

Really poor design that one, although the content is brilliant.

MA:

Armageddon Holocaust - Radioactive Zone 245

I don't like thrash, I don't like crust, but I do like black metal, and for some reason, when you mix the three together it sounds awesome.

Non-MA:

For Giants - Depths

More djent, yay.

Hehe, thanks. Unlike forestcorpse I don't own any fancy knives or stuff like that, but that doesn't mean I can't have nice backdrops for my purchases. :)

The Powerlord is a 2014 re-issue from Heavy Forces in Germany, I ordered from them directly. Paid about $30 for it including shipping I think. They probably still have some. Sounds pretty good, and the packing is pretty nice too with a nice sized poster.

I actually really have one that broke just the way you explained. It really pissed me off so I figured I might as well buy a new one and give the broken copy to a friend.

Oh okay hahah I just never got any of their EPs. I should probably though, love that short format. I need to grab Surreal Overdose sometime soon. It took some time to grow on me but As the Weird Travel On is stellar.

Honestly I never understood why people like them before. I have all three of their albums and the first two do almost nothing for me, very underwhelming especially considering all the hype the get from the Jesus crowd. The new album on the other hand is boss. It just clicked for me and is a very nice slab of blackened death metal while still keeping their signature sound. (I know that sounds cliche but the band really does sound pretty damned unique.)

Nice, I'll check that out. I've listened to a bit of Infinite Titanic Immortal (I own "Prometheus Rebound" from a compilation), and it didn't seem to do much for me.

Missing from a previous order, excellent service though so senorhernandez at Discogs gets some recognition, also he has some wicked things for sale Conan, Slomatics, Bongripper etc
Conan - Monnos [US, digipak, original on Gravedancer]

Bought this directly from the band/Roger, it was $15 usd shipped, only 500 were made too...
Mortician - Final Bloodbath Session [US, ltd ed digipak reissue, I've wanted this for years and it SLAYS]

Swap deal with MA member Erosion of Humanity
Morbid Angel - Illud Divinum Insanus [jewel case version, I have the starpak too which I may now trade]
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis [I like this album but the packaging makes me want to take it out to the farm and shoot it, it's awful]

NWN! purchase
Doombringer - Ancient Abominations [POL, digipak, comp of 2 demos, this is members of Bestial Raids and Cultes Des Ghoules but doesn't really sound like either band]
Kerasphorus - Cloven Hooves At The Holocaust Dawn [US, 2011 repress, vicious but not total noise]

Got some cassettes too
Infected - Prick [original Wild Rags]This is the Australian death metal band
Misery - Astern Diabolus [original Wild Rags, with massive holes smashed through the rear cover by the spindles on the rear cover!] This is the Australian death metal band
Sadistic Intent - Impending Doom [original Wild Rags]

To be continued...
