Of course it's what mine says. :p It's just that the Mould code seems like it's written in both the top and lower layers of the inner ring, so it kind of blurs together. But from what I could tell that's pretty much it.

Mastering code and matrix are clearly visible though.

hey guys. I just bought Sepultura - Arise, RR9328-2, 1991 Roadrunner Records. So it would be first press, but the CD came sealed and completley mint, so it is probably a bootleg. The thing is that it has a correct barcode which is 168619328-2 4 as the only matrix number (besides the bar code) wich coincides with the back cover bar code. Still, there is another contradiction, since it comes with "Orgasmatron", when 1st Roadrunner Records didnt have it. Only Brasil and Japan versions did. Can you help me?

SevenFaces, looks like boot.

If you could upload some pics, especially pic of matrix, it could be much easier to conform it 100%.

Also you're in Argentina so it could easily be a 'licensed' copy
Where did you buy it from?
The barcode as the matrix is a warning sign indeed, as drobowik says a decent set of images especially the matrix would be good.

Hey Dread, I got a copy of Dahmer today that has yet another matrix. Probably a repress from the first batch of Olympic/CM stuff that came out, since the matrix is very different.

Just thought you'd like to know about it. There are way too many CD variations of that album... :oh shit:

Yeah? have you added it to Discogs yet [or updated an existing one] ?
Can you put your matrix etc in here so I can see it

Photos and barcode/CAT#/matrix info would be needed for such.

Holy balls, put some spoiler tags on that one will you? They're located just above the text box where you write the post.

Other than that, legit reissue. You have nothing to worry about. ;)

kirkko if that's the only difference you can add your matrix as a variant
I have that version too Variant 1 was added by me

Matrix / Runout (Variant 1) : 112407-I3-9271-2-N
Matrix / Runout (Variant 2) : 112407-I4-9271-1-M

Shall we splice this thread with the CD Identification, Matrix & Bootleg Help Thread ?

Weirdly, I have a third variant - identical to the others as far as I can tell, but with a matrix of 112407-I9-9306-1-M

Sorry, I just moved the topic about Voivod - Nothingface here without knowing it was an old one from 2012, please use this sticky in the future.

Morpheus Descends - Chronicles Of The Shadowed Ones

Any bootlegs of this floating about that you guys know of?
Apparently there was a problem with the first press and and rear cover was upside down so the second 'batch' had 2 rear inserts?!

Some scans I was sent

Does anyone have an original IRS copy of Nuclear Assault's Survive? And if anyone does, would it be too much to ask for a detailed picture of the matrix so I can check the font against a copy a friend of mine bought recently? Thanks mates. ;)

That matrix matches the one from my collection. This is supposedly the first press that came in a black tray CD and plain white in the inner side of the back tray insert (no vampire printing).

Disc rot was something that affected a few plants and a few releases suffered from this.
Ancient - The Cainian Chronicle CDs are cheap to replace

Thanks for taking the time to post it. The thing is, I really wanted a high-res photograph to confirm if the font type was the same or not. That's pretty much the only way to tell the difference nowadays with these bootlegged to hell CDs.

http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=2499220 ;)

The copy my friend got was precisely the same, except I thought the font on the matrix was oddly irregular. Kind of written in bold letters but grainy. That pic, as good as it is though, doesn't shed the doubts that I have about it. Hence why I asked for a high-res pic to verify it.

You've searched over at Ebay? you could ask sellers at Discogs for a photo or scan.
