Incantation - 'Mortal Throne of Nazarene' (on beautiful golden-brown vinyl!)

Best $22 (incl. shipping) I've spent in a good while...

SFU - Bringer Of Blood (CD/DVD digipack) (worst album art I've ever seen, one hell of a ugly booklet)
Tanatossis - The Darkest Reflections
Beyond The Flesh - What The Mind Percieves
Judgement Day - 40 Minutes To Impact
Burning Inside - Apparition

All are a bit of a gamble. But they were cheap. I hope the Judgement Day album is at least half as good as their first one.

I thought you already had that Horna lp, hehe. Good album, as most stuff from them!
Those Virvatulet tapes looks interesting... I guess I should check out the band!

Thanks a lot! No I had most stuff Horna has released but not this new one yet. I listened to it from youtube when it was released though. Very good album IMO, but not quite as good as the albums with Corvus doing the vocals.

You definitely should check out Virvatulet. I think they're just the kind of black metal you'd like.

I absolutely agree with you. Horna was incredible with Corvus and Virvatulet makes great melodic & melancholic music.

I received this great stuff today:

Two tapes of Circle of Ouroborus & two double LPs of Cosmic Church.

No metal this time around:

Alcest-Shelter
Steve Hogarth/Richard Barbieri-Arc Light

Even I can't call this Alcest album metal, and I traditionally have a pretty amorphous personal definition of "metal" when it comes to genre shifting former metal bands (I'm not 100% entirely convinced this is a permanent shift for Alcest), or progressive/experimental types. But I can call this Alcest album a very early contender for album of the year, and that's after one play.

Moving to another country
Initially I picked out about a dozen that he had listed online but after some dialogue I found out that was the tip of the ice burger, he sent me a HUGE list which took a couple fo days to wade though, worth it though: Alchemist, Sadistik Exekution, Cianide, Dark Angel etc

Holy shit! How'd you manage to snag 60 for so little money, if you don't mind me asking?

Recent arrivals:

Anatomy - 'Where Angels Die' CD (quite nice Aussie black metal)
Wicked Maraya - 'Cycles' CD (kickass U.S. power metal, sort of like a heavier Queensryche)
Anoxia - 'Intense Killings' CD (brutal, grinding USDM - pretty much what the band and album title suggest)

Currently waiting on:

Tom Petty - 'Hard Promises' LP (yeah, yeah, but I've been listening to the guy since preschool)
Blue Oyster Cult - 'Secret Treaties' LP
Antediluvian - 'Logos' LP (just about shit myself when I found it for $10.99!)
Mercyless - 'Coloured Funeral' CD
Blood of Christ - 'A Dream to Remember' CD
December Wolves - 'Completely Dehumanized' CD
Goat Semen/Anal Vomit split (had to get it just for the names - though I am familiar w/ GS - and it was only 4 bucks w/ no shipping!)
