Resubmit it with that link in the submission notes. It hasn't been blacklisted so you should be able to do this.

discogs could be the reason for this ... there are two entries and it can be debated whether these are not two different bands.

could the information that I have provided change the stance of the mods on this issue? I had not been able to trace a downlaod.

Hello.
Please delete from ban-list band Abigorum from Russia.
First demo is non-metal, yes.
But other discography is metal with live instruments.
You can listen preview from new single:
http://satanath.com/releases/item/sat065.html
Next full-length album's genre will be black metal.
Thanks & best wishes.

Strange ... when I tried the link yesterday I received a 404 error ... that is odd.

Just wondering what happened to Gypsy Chief Goliath? They were in the Band queue earlier today (Dec 30th) and I checked to see if they were accepted and they weren't and they haven't been blacklisted.

It was decided that the band is more rock than metal. The moderator who eventually rejected it simply forget to blacklist it.

Blotum was rejected for the reason of not having a valid release, which I'd like to appeal. I re-submitted the band and included a link to bandcamp where you can download the final mix of our demo in full, for free.

Can the mods re-evaluate their blacklisting of Black Sheep Wall? I propose this album as "proof of metalness" due to its greater emphasis on the sludge doom metal side of things rather than the post metal one.

I don't know why this has been blacklisted. Pictures of the physical copies were taken on the 17th, and all the orders were shipped as of today. They even announced distribution. Bummed I won't get any points for this one.

Orders shipped: https://www.facebook.com/adversarialism ... 4162030616

There are some pictures of the tapes and track streaming in their facebook too.

Celestial Blades was blacklisted because I didn't have enough proof of a physical release. I was finally able to contact the band and get some more info. Any chance of an unlock so I can resubmit?

I've attached all of the new info to the band submission, which is currently in my band drafts.

I've restored it. And you did get points for the submission. A deletion doesn't automatically undo that, unless a moderator manually removed the points afterwards.

Hi,

I would like to resubmit Vermilion (BE) to Encyclopedia Metallum. Here is the link: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ver ... 3540372796
I have included photographic evidence of the physical release of our EP (which is about 35 minutes long) here: http://i.imgur.com/4priELP.jpg
Also, our full EP is available for listening on our soundcloud page here with one song being available as a free download: https://soundcloud.com/vermilion_the_band

Thanks in progress.

Hello,
my band Alter In Mind was rejected, it is not metal. I do not agree. I think I honestly wrote in the genre, as the band plays - crossover, because we play no clean style metal (thrash, deatn, nu-metal, heavy), but rather a mix of all, but still the base is metal music and I think that we can be designated as a band that plays heavy metal music. As proof of our metal present the review in metal zine Fobiazine: http://www.fobiazine.net/article/5143/a ... !/#gallery, we still play live with others metal bands of all styles in clubs. As another proof of our metal present and then leave to the discretion must live videos on youtube for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3n6lhvy74U, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5iVdd2NnlM.
Please re-evaluation and assessment of the band Alter In Mind is metal.
Thank you for your answer and sorry for the misunderstanding.

Historian was rejected because of the reason: "Not having a valid release", which I'd like to appeal. There was added link with bandcamp site where it is available to get from. It is just 3 songs, but still it is an EP that precedes the full-length.

In the rules:
Quote:
Length of material: The album must be a full-length. There is no hard-defined cut-off, as that would be arbitrary: a good guideline, however, would be roughly 30 minutes of original material. This is to avoid the kind of bands that have a lazy "promo single", or a "3 song EP", of which 2 are covers, for instance. Expect moderator discretion for evaluating this. An EP may be accepted depending on the situation. Two EPs are better than one, for sure.

This EP is not even 15 minutes.

I'd like to argue the decision if you could please indulge me?

Well the band Exivious (http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Exivious/2802) are on Metallum and in my opinion they are even less based in metal than Exist.

Exivious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfPN0N9rzrk
Instrumental, clean guitars. To me they're straight up jazz fusion.

Exist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qlg8HyzFhQ
Blastbeats, growling, distorted guitars, chugging riffs. To me at least they are definitely based from Metal and exploring other genres within the Metal format.

But I imagine Exivious have partly earned a place on metallum due to their association with the (formerly metal) band Cynic.

Many other non-metal associations with Cynic have earned a place on Metallum, such as Sean Malones solo album, and his subsequent instrumental prog rock albums Gordian Knot.
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sean_Malone/25455
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Gordian_Knot/1384

But Exist doesn't earn a spot? Even though they are definitely more metal than these bands.

Obviously I respect whatever decision you make but I would appreciate it if you could also consider these points. :)

Thanks

Any re-consideration?
I would show you more songs from their latest full-length but they are not available on youtube/bandcamp/streaming and I don't want to make them available myself against the band's wishes.

Hello

I want to ask, is it possible to remove the band Leben from the blacklist, as they already released an album "In die Ferne, in die Stille" and a split with Hermóđr will also be released on the 12th of january.
