Where do you buy all these albums Perdition? Also are you a millionaire or something? Ordering from Japan is pretty expensive.

I nailed the first 12 via a shopping service (that was actually subsidized by selling CDs). The last 5 were from HMV Japan. They weren't that expensive, mainly cuz most of these CDs are EPs, singles, and MCDs. I think the only real full-lengths are Vampire Pledge (odd name for a power metal band) and Veiled in Scarlet (odd name for a melodeath band). Doujin stuff is normally a lot cheaper than regular Japanese CDs, but you have to use a shopping service to get the vast majority of it (HMV Japan sometimes stocks this stuff). I want all of Iron Attack!'s CDs, and that is going to hurt. Hell, Iron Chino probably released a new CD right as I typed this. :P

Also, Canada's dollar is doing reasonably well vs. the yen - and I haven't been getting stung with duty very often. Its actually not that much more expensive ordering from Japan than Europe for me. Plus, everywhere I've ordered from in Japan packages CDs VERY well. They're as OCD as I am. :)

The cds themselves aren't very expensive, but the shipping is. Guess in Canada that's not the case. But then, I can't read japanese so my options when ordering are pretty limited.
Trying to keep up with some bands will only lead to bankruptcy lol

Has anyone that ordered the Vermis LP through relapse still not recieved their order? I sent them an email in September and one yesterday as I have not recieved mine yet.

Recently just got a bunch of tapes from Tridroid records that I am just now sorting, and got the Chris Moyen Thorncross book (and archgoat/incantation split) from nwn! along with the new Bolzer and Antediluvian LPs. Was sold on the book after seeing some pictures, very well done.

CD, I don't have a turntable in my new flat - so I can't really justify buying vinyl. The album's very good, though. Cool guest spot from Schmier, too!

Thumbs up for the Summoning bootleg! There should be on official re-release of those demos, but there isn't, despite how cool they are.

The Merkstave LP totally rules, and the Vradiazei is really cool too. Kinda jealous of that Leper CD. You'll have to let me know how the Hell tour tape is, cause if he dubs more of them I might pick one up.

I opted out of this purchase and instead bought:

Destruction - Sentence of Death LP with insert poster (Metal Blade 1985)
Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland LP

Both from local record store. I like buying from record stores better than ordering online.

I'll take a picture when I get home.

Gallowbraid - Ashen Eidolon EP

If you like Agalloch, and wish it had a bit more of straightforward drive in it, this is definitely a good choice. The only sucky thing here is that the CD version does not have the "Stone of Remembrance" bonus track of the vinyl version on it, it's a good one as well. The title track has a few "ear worm" level sticky parts in it, one melodic riff section will NOT go away for days once you hear it.
