Hi everyone, i want to record drums of my project but i need a good mic, any recommendations?

I can spend 90 or 100 dollars.

I hope you plan on using more than one mic. cause otherwise you aren't going to get much quality with one single mic. it doesn't matter how good it is. esp if you are only going to spend a hundred bucks tops.

With that budget I'd recommend buying a mini mixer and 3 super cheap mics.

If you are going to own one microphone it should be a Shure SM57. Borrow microphones for the time in which you are recording drums if you can't afford more - it's very helpful to know other bands and musicians. At the very least you should have four mics - kick, snare, overhead left, overhead right. If you have a less-than-ideal assortment of mics, put the shittiest mic on the kick, the best on the snare, and vocal mics as overheads.

Seconded. Be careful about fakes though.

I don't know what kind of song you plan to record, but I've recorded very decent drum takes with one single SM57 placed in front of my drum kit, above the tom-toms and between my crash cymbals.

If you play basic rock/metal with kick+snare+cymbal and few fills, one single mic can be largely enough, and even provide a better result than multiple mics.

The most important is to find the right place for the SM57 stand. If you want to include blastbeats, try to play the hi-hat less loud and hit the snare louder. Don't try to play too technical because details won't be heard in the final mix.

IMO with one mic. u can't record descent drums. If you want to use AIR (room) microphones u better get pair of em so u get at least some real stereo input. Shure 57 is a microphone with large scale quality to be used for amping guitars, recording or using it on stage for vocals, drums etc... Not sure I would go with it for drums (still it is amazing all to do microphone with pretty nice price). I would consider on buying something like this:

But like that u'll loose the room ambience by missing the overheads.

U'll get way better quality than using single microphone at same price.
